Magenta consultant Marianne Halavage is taking part in Sing for Water to raise money for WaterAid, the charity dedicated to providing safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education for the world’s poorest communities.
Sing for Water sees more than 800 people from choirs around the country sing together as a mass choir at the Mayor’s Thames Festival in London. All the money raised goes directly to local projects in Africa and Asia, with the majority of funds being raised through sponsorship for taking part in a Sing for Water concert.
Marianne will be taking part in the mass sing alongside other members of Hullabaloo Quire, a well established and much loved natural voice choir in Brighton.
If you’d like to contribute to WaterAid, you can sponsor Marianne on Hullabaloo’s JustGiving page, or come along to the performance on Sunday, 15th September outside City Hall from 2.30pm.
