Account executive
Cerys has experience of PR in the built environment and performing arts. She’s worked with many companies to create press releases, social media content and graphic design, liaising with journalists, and improving brand image.
She’s also worked in operations in the voluntary sector, having supported LGBTQ+ charities and grassroots community-led organisations. With an NVQ in Project Management, she has co-ordinated and assisted many organisations to meet its aims, with particular experience in event management.
Outside her PR role, Cerys’s theatre company Open Handed Theatre is well-known in Brighton. She’s written for and directed for a variety of different genres and was a judge for the Polari First Book Prize. In 2023, her climate change play ‘Before the World Ends’ was longlisted for the Papa Tango Playwriting Prize.
In her own time, Cerys enjoys yoga, vegan baking, and long walks on the beach.
