Magenta donates to Brighton’s the Clock Tower Sanctuary

Magenta has donated more money to a Brighton charity that provides information, advice and support to young people who are homeless or insecurely-housed in the area.

This time around Magenta has raised £200 for the Clock Tower Sanctuary as part of a client research project to discover how facilities management companies manage their supplier information. To encourage people to participate, Magenta pledged £10 for every interview.

Magenta also donates a proportion of our profits every year to the charity and in 2013 donated £300 as part of another client research project.

Cathy Hayward, Magenta’s MD, said: “No young person should ever be homeless. I am delighted that we can help to support this fantastic charity in some small way and help young people to get a roof over their heads.”

Kate Kirkham at the Clock Tower Sanctuary, said: “Thank you to Magenta for your recent donation of £200 which means a great deal to us.

“Your donation comes at a crucial time in our charity’s history. We have experienced record numbers of homeless young people seeking our support in the last 12 months. Overall we have served twice the numbers we were seeing in 2010 – the highest figures in 16 years of operation.

“We are increasingly focused on how to financially afford this increased demand and your donation will help us towards that goal.”
