Cathy 
Hayward, managing director of Magenta Associates, a communications and PR agency for the facilities management and support services sectors, has been named as one of the BIFM regional committee members of the year at yesterday’s BIFM Volunteer Recognition Awards announced at the BIFM AGM.
The awards recognise and praise the achievements of BIFM volunteers (chairs and committee members) who run the BIFM regions and SIGs and provide high quality events for BIFM members, share and disseminate FM industry knowledge and ‘give back’ to the BIFM and FM industry. Cathy has been a member of the BIFM London region since leaving FM World in May 2011 and has helped chair Bernard Crouch run many events. In addition to her work for the BIFM London region, she is also a judge for the BIFM Awards.
