Communication is an essential element of the FM role. From talking to facilities colleagues and service partners to liaising with people within their building from the boiler room to the boardroom, good communication skills are essential. And no more so during the past few months when FMs have been supporting people move to home-working, managing an empty building and now supporting people back into the office.
But many FMs don’t see communications as key part of their role and it’s often not included in sector training. How can FMs brush up on their comms skills?
