Today, it has been announced that Esme Banks Marr has been promoted to senior account manager, following a successful year as account manager.
Esme, whose three-year Magenta anniversary is coming up in March, is a key member of the growing team and an asset to Magenta. Having proven herself to be an extremely determined, dedicated and driven individual with a passion to help both her clients and her team thrive, Esme will take on more responsibility with this new role.
Working alongside account director Jo, Esme will continue the push to help the team’s client base grow and venture into new markets, while managing a team of junior and senior account executives, helping them to develop and progress in their chosen careers. She will also be championing the exploration of new opportunities in the architecture and design sector.
The new position affirms and congratulates Esme for her dedication to the team and to her clients, while continuing to provide her with new opportunities to learn and develop; a key talent retention strategy at Magenta.
On the promotion, Esme commented: “I feel very fortunate to have met Cathy and joined Magenta back in 2015 and am very excited to accept this new role! I have gained so much experience as a result of Magenta’s extraordinary growth over the last few years and feel privileged to be a part of it. I love managing my own accounts and working alongside the rest of the M-people. I look forward to growing my team and continuing my development, all of which will provide me with the chance to really test my own leadership skills.”
Managing director, Cathy, stated: “Esme has been a hard worker since day one. She joined Magenta at a time when we were still finding our feet, and she has played a fundamental role in the company ever since. It’s a pleasure to offer her the promotion, which further confirms our firm belief in internal developments and promoting from within at Magenta.”
