Facilities Management 2017, the annual exhibition taking place at the NEC from 21-23 March 2017, is inviting proposals for seminar sessions that will be hosted at two key theatres at the show.
Under the theme FM: the Business Enabler, the two theatres will showcase content which will challenge, educate and excite delegates.
The FM Matters theatre will include keynote presentations while the FM Dialogue area promises a series of panel debates where delegates can discuss the issues of the day with their peers and experts. The sessions at both theatres will explore how FM can move from cost centre to business enabler. They will give delegates the knowledge, tools and techniques to take back to their organisations and make an immediate impact on the business and bottom line.
“Facilities management is too often seen as a cost and a liability to a business. Something to blame when things go wrong, and to cut when costs are under scrutiny,” said Tim Else, the show’s event director. “The content at this year’s event, the first under the new ownership of Western Business Exhibitions, will focus on how forward-thinking businesses are using FM as a competitive differentiator enabling them to recruit and retain the best talent and clients, create engaging and productive working environments, drive the CSR agenda and add value to the bottom line. We’re excited to hear from leading organisations which are using FM as an asset rather than treating it as a liability.”
Anyone wishing to put forward a proposal should send a brief synopsis, together with details of the speaker and their conference speaking experience, to Cathy Hayward at cathy.hayward@magentaassociates.co.uk by 19 September 2016.
