The cutest ever puppy George has joined the Magenta team. As well as being expected to make a significant contribution to the world of facilities management PR, the soft and fluffy 12-week old Lhasa Apso puppy is likely to spend the day flopped out under the desks, chewing on treats, and enjoying the odd walk in the park outside the office.
George is believed to have said that he is delighted to be part of the Magenta team and looks forward to being fed, walked and patted in the very near future. “WOOF WOOF!”
Magenta’s managing director Cathy finally buckled to the wishes of her three children to get a puppy after, sadly, the pet hamster died. George has so far proven a more-than-adequate replacement.
Lhasa Apso, meaning long-haired Tibetan dog, were originally bred to alert monks in the Buddhist monasteries to intruders. The breed originated in Tibet over 4,000 years ago as a small mountain wolf, and was domesticated as long ago as 800 BC, making it one of the oldest recognised breeds in the world. Generally with calm and sociable personalities, they make great companion dogs who want to please their owners. And their employers.
