Magenta’s MD Cathy Hayward is to chair a webinar which aims to bridge the gap between FM and procurement. The session, which is being sponsored by Magenta client Trade Interchange, will explore the historical different focuses between FM and procurement; what both sides need from the FM/procurement relationship to benefit the business – and what both sides can bring to the table; how FM and procurement can work together to change the focus of supply chain management for the benefit of FM service delivery; and the role of technology in improving the operational relationship between FM and procurement.
“With time spent as an editor of two of the leading FM titles, together with a stint as a reporter for a procurement magazine, Cathy was considered the ideal choice for the role,” says Tim Hoiles, chief operations officer of Trade Interchange.
The webinar, entitled Can procurement’s and FM’s interests be aligned? will take place on Friday 28 November at 11am, and will include a panel of experts including Jeremy Waud at Incentive FM, Les Stratford, chair of the BIFM’s Procurement Special Interest Group, consultant Dave Wilson and Trade Interchange’s chief technical officer Mike Edmunds.
The session will include some top tips on creating a supply chain management function to support the delivery of FM, ideas which delegates can easily implement after the webinar. Visit here to register for this free event.
