This morning, Magenta welcomed its two newest additions to the team!
Katina, our new office manager joins us from a background in music management, and years of travelling the world – namely India, South America and Europe. Katina states:
An outgoing mum of two, wife to one, I love exploring new places and making friends along the way. Originally from Canada, I set sails for London after university to pursue a career in the music industry. After four years of climbing the career ladder I made the decision to take a break and do some traveling. One year turned into four and when I set down in England again, I found myself in Brighton; a city that I had always been drawn too. It’s here that I met and married my husband (through a mutual friend I met in New Zealand!) During this time I worked in various office settings that allowed me to hone my administrative skills and utilise my strong organisational skills (I love a good list!) After another round of travelling, we settled in Brighton – determined to find my dream job, where I could utilise my strong administrative skills, in a friendly and enjoyable working environment. Now, I find myself fortunate enough to be a part of the Magenta Team.”
Gemma, our newest Account Executive, joins us from a background in interior design and award writing, having studied History at Sussex University. Gemma said: “after graduating with a degree in History from the University of Sussex in 2014, I spent some time travelling in South America and Australia before finally returning to Brighton and settling in a role at a media company specialising in built environment. My experience is primarily based in industry awards for interior design however I have also dabbled in editorial, digital marketing and sales. I realised that I wanted to explore a career in PR and immediately felt an affinity with the lovely team at Magenta. Having recently joined the company as an Account Executive, I’m excited to see what my future with the company holds!”
