For the first time ever in the i-FM Technology in FM Awards, the judges created a highly commended award which was given to OCS in recognition of the company’s pioneering approach to health and safety in facilities management through the Logincident app. Working with Logincident, OCS has introduced a new approach to reducing the number of accidents and incidents throughout the organisation, and to changing the health and safety culture in the FM workplace across the UK. The health and safety management system includes a combined mobile app and dashboard to simply and quickly record near miss incidents and unsafe conditions.
To support their success in the awards, which recognises companies and organisations in the FM sector that are utilising new technologies to achieve exemplary improvements in business processes and performance, OCS had to set the organisation apart from the competition by writing a stand-out award entry. Magenta helped OCS to submit a well-written entry that showed demonstrable results and told a compelling story to the judges. This information informed a detailed presentation to the judges, after which OCS was shortlisted in the final five.
The ‘highly commended’ trophy was presented to Jane Sheard, CEO OCS UK facilities services, on 9th February at the landmark Workplace Futures Conference, held at the Crystal London.
