Experienced journalist Marianne Halavage has joined Magenta Associates as a consultant. Marianne, who will be based in the Brighton office, will support managing director Cathy Hayward with a wide variety of work from client pitches, researching and writing press releases, case studies, features and reports, to blogging about the world of the work, and administrative support.
Marianne has written for national publications including The Herald and The Big Issue, and has a masters in journalism. She has also worked as a financial analyst in the City of London and on Wall Street NYC, and has qualified as a chartered accountant.
“I am delighted to welcome such an experienced journalist and well-rounded consultant to the Magenta team and look forward to working with Marianne to support our existing clients and further build the business,” said Cathy.
Marianne will relocate from London to Brighton for the role. She said: “I’m really pleased to have the opportunity to work alongside Cathy, an incredibly talented and competent professional, to help her continue to grow the business. As for moving to Brighton, I can’t wait to be by the seaside and begin to explore such a vibrant little city.”
