The Magenta team travelled up to London yesterday to attend the Property Marketing Awards 2022. Journalist and tech presenter Lara Lewington presented the 30th edition of the awards. Magenta was shortlisted for two categories, and we are delighted to announce that we won the award for best use of PR for our work with client Freespace about data-driven workspace decisions.
The best use of PR
The project involved Magenta building relationships with different media outlets in order to secure the best placements for Freespace. Through this consistent profile building, we were able to position Freespace as the leading voice in all things office occupancy data as the return to work began. With the ongoing threat of other Covid-19 variants, Magenta had the media relationships in place to instantly react to the changing circumstances with relevant, newsworthy data and analysis.
By having regular calls with Freespace in order to understand the data and what it was telling us, we had the confidence behind the story we were sending out to journalists. This aided us in securing placements in top-tier media outlets such as The Financial Times, Bloomberg and The Economist.
Best marketing campaign
Magenta was also short-listed for the best marketing campaign: industrial and logistics category for our work with Business Moves Group (BMG). By using search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies, we were able to improve its position in search results. Since we began the project in 2021, we have seen 54 per cent of all conversions (actions such as a making an email or phone call) occurring on their website being attributed to organic traffic sources. In addition, we can estimate that organic search is directly attributable to six conversions every month (users calling or emailing BMG).

We’d like to thank the Property Marketing Awards 2022 judges for recognising our work across both categories, and for hosting us at the award ceremony. A great night was had by all!
