Sheffield Hallam University launches fourth future of the FM sector survey

sheffield-logo-450x200Sheffield Hallam University has announced its fourth FM sector survey, and is inviting facilities professionals from across the sector to provide insight into current practices, issues and expectations in the industry. Focusing on service delivery models, client/provider relationships and outsourcing trends, the survey will consider how the industry has changed since the last survey in 2012, and will explore new areas to inform our understanding of the future FM industry.

The ten-minute survey can be completed by clicking here and closes on 22 April. For every survey completed £2 will be donated to the national breast cancer charity Walk the Walk. The university hopes to raise more than £1,000 for this worthwhile cause.

The survey is carried out in partnership with i-FM, GRITIT and Servest. “We are pleased to support the survey,” said Rob Legge, Group Chief Executive Officer at Servest Group. “The results will offer valuable insight, both for organisations reviewing their FM contracts, and for FM service providers.” Nikki Singh-Barmi, GRITIT MD, added: “There is no one size fits all approach to FM, but the results of the survey will outline where the market currently stands, and how we can expect it to develop over the next few years.” i-FM will promote the survey to its readers over the coming weeks and will publish the results in early May.
